Some of our creations haven't done so well. A number of these flavours were either too weird that nobody wanted to try it them, or they only gleaned a very modest following. Others were really quite marvellous, but for one reason or other didn't sell well. We try, we learn.

avocado flavour, beautiful light green colour. We
don't understand why it wasn't more popular. |

too strong at first, and not many liked it. Later
incarnations were much milder and more folks found it

never caught on. Ruby red grapefruit is always a
popular flavour, and campari adds a delicate touch. It
is also somewhat bitter and red, but it is an
expensive ingredient, so if it doesn't move better
with than without, then we'll forget it. |

This new "in" berry, so-called
"superfruit" has gorgeous colour, but not a
particularly distinctive flavour. It is also very
pricey and has been our most expensive flavour to
produce. Probably a good thing that not many people
took a fancy to it. We have stopped making it. |

has been near to impossible for us to find nice ripe
kiwis, and the frozen ones aren't very nice either, so
we'll give this one a miss as well. |

is blood orange so popular, but orange is not? To us
they taste virtually the same, but we'll let

Our wonderful Red Ace
beet gelato has been very popular at Covert Farms,
who requested we make this flavour in the first place.
But at Roberto's it is hard to convince people to even
sample it! We still make it from time to time, but it
isn't a regular feature. |

besides, it has never been overly popular. |
